Just let them both go if things continue. Matt's defense is great but as long as he's in our lineup buck won't move him down, which is not good, unless you want a #9 caliber hitter batting 5th.

Wieters isn't a FA though? But still, he needs to hit 8th, only ahead of our Dmen. He's no better than Flaherty as a LH. If a lefty is pitching then he can't hit 6th or 7th.

What? Garcia was awful who was he suppose to pitch? McFarland hadn't worked in 5 days.

He only used McFarland for 2 innings and hunter for 1 thus depriving us of a longman for today.

Why not just use McFarland for 3?

He used both our longmen in one game and for short outings. Didnt/doesn't make much sense.

There's losing. There's having a bad game. And then there's just embarassing yourselves. I think we all know what the last 3 games have been.

The funny thing is the rays blew an even bigger lead than JJ did against the padres, just last night, and they come back and kick our asses the next night. We follow the loss with getting blown out twice and embarassing ourselves and looking terrible.

It comes down to weak SP. Garcia is strickly borderline and Hamm just isn't gettig it done.

That's true. But it's very frustrating that after JJ's blow up they had 1 terrible game, and then somehow have been even worse tonight.

You think Hunter isn't available today if Buck wanted to use him? Burnett screwed things up by not getting some outs. Kinda hard to look at the manager when almost none of the starters are going more than 5 innings.
