MLB Players Want Ryan Braun Out of Baseball

According to Olney, players are furious at how Braun apparently beat the PED suspension:

"They want him taken down if in fact there is evidence he used PEDs. The players have a strong sentiment about that. They want him taken down so badly. Every clubhouse I go into, players are asking me about him. They were furious after he won his appeal because they thought it was ridiculous based on the information they had gotten. Players were appalled about the way that he talked about the collector...They look at him as a guy that has been a disgrace to the sport. And if in fact the evidence backs up what seems to be alleged here, they want him out of the sport."

Braun sure isn't feeling the love. I can't find any similar reactions regarding Rodriguez.

“I can tell you, if we have a case where there really is overwhelming evidence, that a player committed a violation of the program, our fight is going to be that they make a deal,” Weiner said without referring to specific players. “We're not interested in having players with overwhelming evidence that they violated the (drug) program out there. Most of the players aren't interested in that. We'd like to have a clean program.”

Well they will have to wait bc suspensions are coming next year not after the AS break.

I disagree. I think the suspensions will happen within the next month. But the players can appeal them, and it could take weeks for the appeals to be heard.

I just read what was all over Twitter yesterday, the same "sources" that said these players would be suspended and now saying it will wait until the end of the season.

Of course it will. The Yanks have been able to stay in contention with the Bad News Bears lineup they were running out there. Now that Jeter and ARod are back, and the Grandy Man coming soon, they can't go suspending ARod and kill the Yankees momentum. This is the Yankees world, and we just live in it.
