I know, right? That stunt didn't really help them after all. Kinda reminds me of Joey Batz getting all mouthy at DoD during their "hot" streak a few weeks ago. Not so cocky now, looking up at .500.

I disagree. Look at his numbers after the 6th inning. Plus, there was no reason to push him past the 7th. Through the 7th, fine, but no reason at all with a fresh pen to start the 8th. We'll just have to agree to disagree. It was poor bullpen management that worked. I'm glad it did but it was another risk for no reason.

I understand where you're coming from, and I would have no problem with him not starting the 8th. I've looked at Chen's numbers this year past the 7th, but its a sample size of 5.1 innings and 24 AB's, so I don't know how much stock I am willing to put into a sample that small. I agree to disagree, in this instance against Houston, though.
