That's really the more disturbing stat. This team has been a .500 team for almost an entire year now. I'm trying to take each game day by day and just enjoy the baseball season, but if I was asked, I don't personally think this is a playoff team though I do think they have the POTENTIAL to be playoff team if they can get some guys to actually start to perform closer to their career norms.

I agree the potential is there. This team should be tearing the cover off the ball on a pretty regular basis. As it stands right now, we have Cruz and then a couple more guys who have pretty good BAs. Davis looks like he should have stayed home with mama and baby. Our defense is nowhere near where it was last year. Our SP is what it is. Although I thought it might be a little better.
