Between him & Pearce, they both need a good rear end slapping.

And Earl would have politely reminded Steve of the importance of running out plays. Lol.

The only good news is:

(1) You can't lose a tie game.

(2) If we get to the bottom of the ninth tied, any run we score is a walk-off.

(3) Walk-offs are fun. Lots.

Flaherty was playing in the hole. Play was at first base. Granted Flaherty should not have pulled up, but that play is on Hardy imo.

Of course it is. Just like it's my opinion that Flaherty should have been in position to make the play.

He did but there was definite hesitation.

Hardy looked at him and said, "NOPE" because he wasn't where he should've been.

I'm not excusing Flaherty, he should have ran to 2B; but Hardy could've made the play at 1B.
