Yes, but like every pitcher who tears the UCL he succumbed to surgery. Pitching makes it worse, not better. They give Tanaka a shot to take the pain away between starts, but he's still going under the knife. They spent 155M dollars on him.

No doubt this is probably right but if they were able to get as many years (5) out of him then waiting would be worth it. Just saying that schilling should not be guaranteeing the knife will happen. But I agree it probably will.

And if the Orioles do not pull this out and the announcers say it's night time I'm going to be angry that they do not understand its daytime.... Somewhere.
