Most of the oldest O's players on the list are probably not coming back next year. Cruz, Saunders, Hundley, Meek, and Kelly Johnson are all probably gone.

There is a decent chance that Hardy is not back either if the Yankees offer a contract that the O's can't come close to matching. I don't really understand DD's strategy in not signing Hardy earlier but at this point the number of year that Hardy may get in FA might be more than DD wants to commit to offering.

It works well if you are astute at finding younger talent. I wish we had a bit more in the pipeline, particularly with the position players.
