Hard to do that when he's only allowed to start once every 4 or 5 games, or less. The way Elias and Hyde have handled Kjerstad's playing time has been terrible. He never should have been called up to rot on the bench. Westburg and Cowser were mishandled the same way, they both would have been much bigger contributors last season if they had been given everyday playing time instead of getting platooned/benched for significantly less talented veterans. -
Decent first outing for Skenes. He allowed two runners to reach in the fifth, and they both scored when the reliever hit a batter and then issued to walks. The walkfest actually continued after that, but the first two forced in the runs charged to Skenes. -
Hardy is and was a fantastic athlete. I don’t think I’d say Westburg is better. But he’s a better hitter, and faster.

I’d say Santander’s hit was the biggest of the day, but I think you give the game ball to the player who had the greatest total impact on the team winning, not who had the most impactful single play.

True. The window is open, it was opened last season, it will still be open for a few years, but it won't be open forever. This organization had better do what it takes to extract a couple of WS out of this group, like the Astros did, because they will be gone and a new cycle will need to start. -
According to Moose’s logic, Burnes could throw 7 innings of 1 hit ball with 16 strikeouts but the Orioles don’t score until the bottom of the 8th when Jorge Mateo gets HBP with the bases loaded and the Orioles go on to win 1-0. Game ball to Jorge Mateo for changing the win probability the most. Yea!! LOL -
Elias' record should be counted from 2022. The previous seasons were, a-hem, "preparatory".
