Pitching has done Buck NO favors today. Usually these moves work because our guys are on their game. They weren't tonight. Especially Britton.

I expect a bounce back tomorrow. And I would like to see Norris get the start.

Maybe, but I have never liked using your setup guys and closer in a tie ballgame. Never liked that, especially against a great bullpen. I really wish we would have left Gausman in until he started struggling.

Meanwhile, I thought the big turning point in this game was Pearce not being able to handle the throw at first. Tillman could have been out of that inning.

But yeah. You're right. Not being able to throw strikes... wow. That was probably the worst end-to-end pitching performance I've seen from this team in a very long time. I guess they were due one.

Time to erase this one from the memory banks and start afresh tomorrow.
