No more $5 Boh's at the Natty Boh Bar

End of an era. When the Natty Boh Bar first opened, one could get a 22 oz. draft beer for $5 up until the end of the first inning. A couple years ago they changed it to a 16 oz. beer, and now the deal is no more.

Funny this thread appears today. I was running late for the game today so walked in right during the anthem and didn't have time to stop by for my 5$ beers, glad I didn't waste the time. That was an awesome deal while it lasted.

As a side note, I was not able to locate any "BIG CAN" beer last night. This used to be my go-to option, as $10 for 24 oz seemed to be about the best deal the ballpark had.

When I first noticed them about 4-5 years ago it was Coronas. Then they had Bud, Bud Light, BL Lime, Coors Light, Miller Lite, and Mic Ultra. Last year it was CL and ML only, with some places offering Corona for $12.

Is there anything inside the gates anymore that is even close to a deal?

On opening day at least, it felt like the concessions were watered down/cheapened up. They stopped paying for the Gino's and Stuggy's name, and just rebranded the places serving the same stuff. In the rooftop bar, the bartenders kept telling people they did not have stuff they were asking for. The new taco stand is pretty nasty. It just seemed like there was a lot more profit motive going on than before.

DN is a company all about the profit like most. Do you mean Ole Mole for the taco stand? The quality was not bad. 3 tacos for $10.00 but the chicken was cold. The ordering system was sad. Writing down names and orders on the tray.Good POS system. Took almost 15 minutes with a very short line. Too much running around filling each item one by one. They do have Dogfish Head and Flying Dog on tap now. $8.75 a beer. The lines were slow and long as usual. I wonder if they will ever have what some stadiums have where you can order food from your phone and pick it up at the stand.

I used to love the Natty Boh Bar Happy Hour deal and the bartenders in there are great. Once they shortened the cups and the lines became too long because the word got out, I stopped going.

I sent an email to the PR people with the team suggesting they extend the Natty Boh Bar across the concourse to the open area and create a Natty Boh-garden. Would be a fun place to have a few beers before the game, but not worth it if the prices aren't discounted.
