Geesh. We all have bad games. At the very least, he is a good bullpen arm.

Don't forget how good he looked for the first games he pitched. I am keeping the faith.

David Lough hit a HR yesterday. He should get more playing time.

I thought he got squeezed by the ump on a lot of pitches on the lower corners. He also had a long tough inning on a broken bat dinker and two cheap infield hits. That'll get your pitch count up. That said, he never looked like he was mowing them down or anything.

Oh, yeah. You can name 150 pitchers who had a nice two starts. A guy with a career 1.3+ WHIP doesn't equal precision pitcher to me.

Wright should develop into a good MLB pitcher once he gets more expert coaching. He had speed but very little command. Perhaps he needs to go back to AAA for a bit.

It looks to me like his elbow has dropped slightly since his first start and he's not getting on top of the ball the way he did. Velocity is down and location is up. He's pushing the ball instead of throwing it.

He will be pushing it from Norfolk. Disappointed by his mental breakdown last night. I thought the heat got to him last week. But, if you can't throw strikes, I don't want him here.

I saw Tony and others were quite excited about him after his first start, and seemed like he merited such excitement. Do people view him as a future starter for us?
