Who do we miss more, Schoop or Wieters?

I think it's Schoop. That's not a knock on Wieters, it's both a compliment to Schoop and an acknowledgment of how well Caleb Joseph has performed.

Schoop is the one I think the one that is missed the most.

I just find it amusing that as recently as this spring training, folks were lobbying for Schoop to start the year in the minors.

Wow I am very surprised at the results here.

It's a little unfair to say "we miss Schoop because his bat was so hot this year" and Wieters hasnt had a chance to swing yet.

I voted Wieters for the simple fact that he's been a better hitter than Schoop has in his career and our pitching is usually a lot better with Wieters behind the plate. Throwing guys out isnt as big of a deal to me as it should I guess, but I remember seeing some video on how much time and video watching Matt puts into every single batter for that game, and I think it translates to better pitching performances.

And to add to that Wieters is hitting at a .500 clip in the minors this season!

agree. plus, it's hard to miss a guy who's been gone for so, so long.
