Not that surprising. As long as Flaherty is around, he is higher on the depth chart. Also, Janish is a free agent and can be resigned to minor league deal without taking 40 man spot. And worst case he leaves, we have Bucks' favorite in Ozzie Martinez in the minors.

Just a tad over 4 hours till the deadline. We've already did some 40 man roster housekeeping. DFA S.Johnson and non tendered Janish. Only Lough and lake seem like other non tender candidates. Both are out of options(I'm pretty sure lake is) and there definitely isn't room for both of them on the 25 man roster. Maybe neither. Might not seem like a lot but it's almost 1.5 million against our salary figure.

I don't know what they throw but I think Worley is already filling the role Petit would. If we spend anymore money on the pen it should only be for O'day.

Hopefully the Giants get Grienke. I haven't heard them mentioned too much in Davis but that would eliminate one more possible team. The dodgers have a ton of OF's.
