I'm thinking it'll be somewhere closer to ST. Let's shoot for late Feb. The fact that Boras is shopping him as a corner OF tells you all you need to know. Chris will hold out for as long as he can, and I would make him pay

for it.

Back to the Orioles is still my guess. Just out of curiosity, some other Boras $100MM+ clients:

Matt Holliday 7/120 on 1/10/10 (resigned with STL)

Prince Fielder 9/214 on 1/25/12

Max Scherzer 7/210 on 1/21/15

So I think it happens in the next 10 days or so. Holliday is actually a pretty interesting comp. They made an early offer and stuck with it. Boras was never able to do better and eventually came back and took the deal.
