Actually, from what I have heard from a couple of guys that I know used to do room service, its not uncommon for people to be in various stages of undress when you deliver their room service.

He doesn't realize how bad he gets when he is drunk.

Just like any person with an addiction, its his demon and sometimes, he does a good job with being on the wagon, and staying dry and there are times, when he can't help himself.
