O's won with their 6th or 7th best starter...

Their 3rd best leftfielder,

Their All-Star CF out of the lineup hurt.

And a DH that had not gotten a hit in his first 4 games with the O's

It was Sunday. The day when Buck often uses some of his bench players and more often in years past have lost.

Not this year.

I looked at the starting pitcher and the lineup this morning and thought that the winning streak was in jeopardy. But they won anyway. Love it.

I don't like to throw terms like this around willy nilly... Murderer's Row.

Even on off Sunday.

Gallardo was far from good today. Not quite lucky, but maybe fortunate is the best word. He has yet to impress me, but we ARE 6-0. Thats really all I care about.

He wasn't great. But that was a hard luck double against a shift that just barely stayed fair.

That stuff happens to all pitchers now and again.

Gallardo looked great his first outing, hit some trouble this one. Let's see where he is at the end of the month.

Orioles won with their 6th or 7th best starter ...

They won with their 8th best starter today. :laughlol:

$22M Gallardo pitched as effectively as $217M Price. The wind was blowing out.

I would argue that Gallardo out-pitched Price.

They both gave up 5 runs over 5 innings, but Gallardo was more pitch-efficient.

Price needed 103 pitches to get through 5 frames, while Gallardo only needed 96.
