Because they just lost 6 and it can't be 8 in a row? I feel like you understand that it's very difficult for even bad teams to lose 7 straight and couldn't wait to bump this post if the Orioles got the lead. I would have been happy to have answered you an hour ago when I posted it.

I just assumed you were doing the ol' reverse jinx thing when you posted that. I liked it.

The Asian market is the place to start making some moves imo. The pitchers are expensive for the TOR guys but the other guys are pretty cheap.

Chen, Kang, park, Kim.

My guess is the bargain shopping in Korea is done.

Couple years is all you will get before teams jump on the bandwagon and start buying up the tier 2 guys at market prices.

I just never get that logic. I bet on sports and when a team is in a cold streak I am less likely to bet on them, all other factors being equal. But I know people who actually use logic such as "no way these guys get swept, they are too good" when placing bets... in other words a strategy that actually makes them MORE likely to bet on a team in a slump or cold stretch. And I just don't get it.

I just don't understand why a team that has lost 6 straight is somehow unlikely to lose the 7th because 7 game losing streaks are rare. If they lose tonight, are they somehow more likely to win tomorrow than they would have been? If they had happen to lose the last game they won, would they have been more likely to win last night to avoid the magic 7?
