His fastball suddenly started going the same speed as his changeup. Melvin saw about 4 pitches of that and ran out of the dugout.

His first game, after he got hit but was out of the inning, he was in the dugout talking and smiling. As he was finally getting to the tunnel first batter crushed a HR. He turned and watched it go out. We actually went back to back there.

I was gigging last Thursday and only caught the last two innings in the car, so I missed it. Glad to have been able to catch this start though. Just wish the boys had given him some run support.

I think Miley did fine, too. Hold them to two runs, we should be winning these kinds of games. 6 more outs to try and crack this unexpected puzzle that is Oakland pitching.

By the way, in that dugout shot MASN showed of Miley, he seemed to have a good ole boy Billy Kilmer look to him. Sort of a wild look in his eyes.
