Travis Wood is off the board -- Royals get him for 2/12

A little surprised that he got that much guaranteed money this late in the game.  Definitely odd that he only got $4m less overall than Hammel.  Gotta think De La Rosa will get at least 1/4 or 2/7 now, probably more.  Was hoping we'd kick the tires on Wood as a depth piece, but certainly wouldn't have wanted us to spend 2/12 on him.

I think the remaining SP pieces will start falling quick, with Wood off the board.

I doubt the O's will be in on anyone that requires more than a MiLB contract.

Royals  were the only team desperate enough for his extreme updside.    

I doubt his second place deal was anywhere close.
