Too low on Norby. All he’s done is hit in AAA. It’s not his fault he’s been an Infielder behind Gunnar, Westburg, Ortiz, Mayo, Hernaiz, Holliday, etc… The tier of low minors pitching of De Leon, Baumeister, and Nunez, is always underrated. Hopefully our pitching prospects will start to get the love the hitters do. McDermott is still 1 K off the milb lead. Basallo getting a higher grade that Babe Mayo down there. Mayo should be a 60+ as well. 55 😂 -
He gets mad every time someone takes a dig at the Yankees. Sometimes I feel like he’d be more at home at Pinstripe Alley than here. -

I heard the pregame team raving about him on 105.7 the other day. 12+ K/9, no HR allowed, .389 BABIP. Sidearm action a little. Lots of GB. We got him with the first overall selection in the milb portion of the Rule 5 draft a few years ago. Up/down type reliever next year? -

You said it, it depends on the prospects to Texas to complete the trade (if Texas sells). This should be the type of pitcher Elias pursues. Hall of Fame pitcher who is still effective. Given that he is a free agent after the season and will cost $10 to $12 million for the remainder of the season, they should not have to give up any of the big 4 propsects. -
In terms of energy? e = 1/2 mv^2 football: 60 mph -> 26.8 m/s, 14.5 oz = .411 kg. 1/2 * (26.8^2) * .411 = 147.5 joules. baseball: 102 mph -> 45.59 m/s, 5 oz = .142 kg. 1/2 * (45.59^2) * .142 = 147.5 joules. I don't think they're 100% equivalent - I think the higher raw speed on the arm of a 102 mph pitch introduces more stress on the arm than a 60 mph football throw. But they're not that far off.
