His velocity is still down, but he's looked infinitely sharper than spring training. And better than Opening Day. OD he got rather lucky. A lot of very loud outs.

He was lucky early OD, but once he broke out the slider, hitters were more off-balance.

His velocity is down about 0.1 mph from last year and honestly he looks lower effort in these outings.  Not concerned at all in that regard.
