We don't know what the packages for Manny were, but if 8-12 were offered, a fair assumption is that some were "good.'

I imagine it would have been Conor Moran plus.  And Conor Moran under control for six more years may just be more valuable than 3 months or so of ZB we will get this year.

Plus we wouldn't have Britton's dead weight arbitration salary.  Which in a dream world would be spent on say, starting pitching.
