I wish the Orioles would start the fire sale.

The Orioles have to be the most incompetent organization in sports and it never stops. Stop the madness Angelos family and Buck and Brady and Dan. A few wins against teams like Tampa and the White Sox doesn't mean squat. This year and this team is a lost cause right now.

Make some bold moves for the future. Get your head out of your collective a$$es. Show the fans you are listening.

Signed,

SMH in Maryland

We have one trade-able asset.

Jones is tradable at the deadline.  So our most of our relievers,  Gausman,  Bundy Cashman,  Schoop, Machado,  Sisco, Mancini.  Basically other than Davis, Wright, Trumbo,  Cobb, Rasmus,  Joseph whomever our utility player is and Tillman our players are tradable

I sure wish Angelos would wake up about the O's. There are trades that could be made. IMO

Seriously? Yeah there is only one Machado but we do have other guys we could dangle in there.

Machado is not even the Orioles most valuable asset. Givens, Gausman and Bundy all bring back as much right now.

Jones- probably a c level prospect at best.

Machado

We won’t trade Gausman, Bundy, Schoop, or Givens.  (We won’t get fair value in a Seller’s market)

Sisco is unproven

Mancini is a DH.

O’day and Brach would require us to eat a lot of their contracts.

We’re looking at getting back some good players for Machado then maybe 3-5 C level prospects if we eat a bunch of money. Leslie Brea, Trenidad Hubbard, Brook Fordyce, Melvin Mora, Mike Kincade types.

Parra got someone Zach Davies.   Jones is a lot better than Parra was.   I am glad you aren't trading our players as you would give them all away

Parra was 28 years old and was having a career year when we traded for him (140 OPS+, 2.1 rWAR).    Jones is 32 and is at replacement level right now (100 OPS+, 0.0 rWAR).     Obviously anyone trading for Parra should have expected some regression, and Jones has had a much better career.    But Parra was probably a hotter commodity at that times than Jones is now.  (Caveat: Jones has been hot for the last month and if he stays hot he may be pretty valuable at the deadline.)
