If we had a clone of Zach Britton in his best year on record occupying every seat in the bullpen, and a clone of Zach Britton capable of pitching 6-7 innings occupying every starter slot, we might be about 5 games under .500 this year given the offense.

23-58, halfway to 46-116....with a $149 million player payroll....12th in the majors.  Oakland has the lowest at $63 million...and they are 44-38.  So basically, we have paid $6.5 million per win versus Oakland paying less than $1.5 million.  Not counting what we have paid the manager, coaches, and other FO folks.  What an awful investment.

Last four months of full baseball:

September - 7 wins

April- 7 wins

May -9 wins 

June- 6 or  7 wins.

Have lost 20,19,19 and for June either 19 or 20. Bit of a slump. Have had one winning month since last April.

It may not make much difference who the GM and Manager will be next season. This team is awful.
