I thought it might be fun to have one thread where we can keep updating how the new Orioles are doing. I didn't get to watch, but it looks like Phillips and Carroll were decent last night.

Hope they are doing well.

Phillips looked good.

Fastball 93-95 (which is a little lower than usual for him) with late life, good ride up in the zone. It misses bats. Was able to hit the glove with it a number of times, solid command.

Changeup 87-88 with decent armside fade, average pitch last night, which is the best I’ve seen it.

Only threw one slider, it looked like it slipped out of his hand.

Carroll was ok, FB 96-97 which is on the low side for him, pretty flat, slider was good but not the best I’ve seen from him.

Yeah, pretty much agree with Luke.  I thought Phillips looked pretty good.

Haven't been impressed by Carroll in his 2 outings, he was barrelled up pretty well a few times in both appearances and I don't think I've seen him throw a good breaking ball yet.  But obviously not going to take too much from 2 innings.

I saw in one of the other threads a list of all the acquired players. Does anyone remember which one that was in?

I would like a list so I can look up certain players every once in a while and keep track of their progress, and what level they are in.

And that is where they fit into top 30 for the Os. With Diaz at 56 in top 100 and Mountcastle is 70 in top 100

How solid have Villar's hits been? Or does he beat out infield grounders? Maybe he'll do for us what Beckham did last season. I saw that Schoop is 0 for 12 with 8 Ks.

His hits have all be solid hits, either grounders to the of or line drives.
