fansince71
I mean, you can’t even believe he would do something like that. Such a punk-ass move! I hope it cost him biggly.

OsFanSinceThe80s
And Manny scores the game winning run. Series tied 2-2.
baltfan
He is so much like A-Rod it isn’t even funny. Some day we may learn what a good job Buck did keeping him under wraps.

Ohfan67
If he signs with the Yankees, then he will become the most hated ex-Oriole in the history of Oriole fandom. The evidence was always there that he was a serious tool. Now he is a serious tool with questionable intelligence (he could be bright, but has lived in a Manny worship bubble long enough to develop functional stupidity) who is openly talking to the media horde. If he does and says these things in a Yankee uniform, then Mike Mussina and others are going to look like Oriole saints in comparison. 1
tntoriole
Manny does best when he is acting joyfully, like a kid, like the moments after a game where he met the kid who caught a homerun, etc. Because he still is a kid in so many ways. But then, kids can also have a strong sense of entitlement and Manny definitely has that entitled star mentality. He will be eaten alive in NY...I hope he signs somewhere else.
CallMeBrooksie
I always rooted hard for Manny, as I do every player who puts on an O's jersey. Heck, I even still get the warm fuzzies about Delmon Young. Been rooting for Manny on the Dodgers as well. Our only homegrown superstar in quite some time. I always held optimistic about his chances to grow and mature into a leader. Though it may be telling that despite being far and away best player on the team, he was never close to being my favorite player. He was fun, exciting and a spectacular baseball player.. but I never felt an emotional connection to Manny as a fan like I did for so many of our guys from this recent era. If I woke up tomorrow and he was suddenly an Oriole again, I'd root for him again. I don't find on-field pettiness/dirty plays to be unforgivable, and the rest of you shouldn't pretend like you always found him detestable, either. But let's just say he never was and never will be a guy whose jersey I consider buying... not even when he was our innocent little rookie Manny.
