So they can collect their own video and metrics. Is this common for MLers? Only certain teams?

I want to hear the logic behind using no tees?  Are they using soft toss, front toss, BP, etc?  The answer could be interesting and maybe change our approach with how we teach the youth on how to hit.  As a coach, I'm interested in this stuff.

I'm not sure how widespread it is in MLB, but the Astros use it at all levels with all their players, prospect or not. The guy who tweeted that is a 39th round pick, complete non-prospect.

Is that jazz playing in the background?  Have they also done analytics on the best music for hitters to listen to as the train?  I am only half joking.    Like playing classical music to a baby!
