Nope.

If you take the safe pick you are pretty much secure no matter what happens.

You go overslot at 39 for a kid ranked 100 it's a different situation.

Either they make it or they don't. Sure a pick is more justified than another, but Rowell was a justified pick at the time and how do we think of that now? We think it was a terrible pick that made the O's look stupid.

Sure but a Rowell pick isn't going to do the damage to your reputation that a Hobgood is going to.

Everyone liked Rowell.  And for a year or two there, he looked like he was legit and then it all went off the rails.  But I remember this board being enamored with him when he put up his stats in his first year.
