Pay almost all his salary and trade him to the Indians for future considerations. He might be a better DH than what they have now.

Indians might just wait until Trumbo is released. If the Indians heat up, I wonder what they would give up for Mancini at the trade deadline.

He crushed that ball tonight.. dead center, 430-440ish

Harold Baines still hit like a boss on two bad knees he could barely run 90' to first on. Hitting a HR is just one SMALL part of being a major leaguer.

Just remember his value four years ago was third string catcher.

Trust me, I have no delusions about his value. He just clogs up our lineup and rebuild and current team like an oil change using used oil would do. Like using straight up crude oil would do...

Trumbo homered for Norfolk tonight, and doubled yesterday.   He’s pretty close to ready.   What the heck are we going to do with him?

My guess is  he is the  O's DH for the next 6 weeks in hopes the O's can get salary relief  or a decent prospect for him.   He has to be traded by the end of July and the whole league knows it.

Nunez will probably play a lot of 1B with Davis as the defensive backup.

Mancini to right field.

Stewart and/or Santander have options. If room is needed on the 25 man roster.

The O's re-evaluate on August 1st.

NO TEAM IS GOING TO TRADE FOR TRUMBO.

He wasn't worth a "decent prospect" four years ago.

The best we can hope for is that someone signs him after he gets released and they have to pay him 550K.
