I was hoping to see Montanez too. It makes you wonder why they had to pull him from the game in Bowie and rush him to Anaheim if he wasn't even going to play. If they get in a pinch Mora can plan outfield and then Castro can move over to the hot corner with Cintron at SS.

If he wasn't going to play anyways they'd be just as well off only having 24 players. The M's held only 24 players last week after Rhodes was traded. For two days it's not that big a deal. To be honest I'm surprised that they didn't bring up another pitcher instead of Montanez.
