Where will the Orioles play the upcoming Tampa series?

Hurricane looks like it will affect Florida.. Hopefully  curves north and out to sea but not looking good right now. Heard baseball will have to make a decision tomorrow or Saturday morning at the latest. Montreal for the third time have requested to play  a game there.Two other times when hurricanes were coming ,baseball turned them down.Braves and Nationals are both home.Do they play in Baltimore? Tampa may want a neutral site. NY? Durham?

Playing in Baltimore WOULD be a neutral site!  Playing in NY the fans would want Tampa to lose, thus would be rooting for the Orioles.

We played Baltimore home games during the protests in Tampa Bay. If these games need to be played elsewhere they can play at Camden. 

Hopefully it's not necessary and everyone stays safe.

It's a slow moving storm expected to be a tropical storm by the time it hits Tampa Bay. If they play here (St. Pete), worst case scenario is that Tuesday's game gets postponed. Of course, this could change as the storm continues to grow.

Still a 30% chance it goes north , hugs the cost or out into the ocean Hope it does that for all the people in Florida 

Also a small hurricane so 50 miles will make a big difference between major winds and rain and some gusty winds.

It's a small hurricane now, but warm waters are feeding it. Should be a large Cat 4 by the time it makes landfall on Monday morning.

 Rays are in contact with MLB discussing storm forecasts and potential contingencies for homestand that starts Friday. No decisions expected today.

For those who don’t read the minor league board, the GCL playoffs, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, were canceled due to the storm.    The GCL O’s finished with the best record in the league, 38-15.

The Rays have a dome.  I don't see the issue.  Maybe one game gets cancelled and they play a double header.    Its not like Tampa is on the east coast of Florida.

If it is like Irma it's going to be an issue.  Keep in mind the area has already seen a lot of rain this month.  My property just dried out a couple days ago.

Even if it's like Irma it should only impact one game at the most. Besides, O's have a better chance if there's no power.

Thanks, I'm not expecting this one to be a problem.  You folks might get a couple day reprieve from my posting.
