Be an interesting few weeks.Perhaps longer. But hopefully real testing will happen next week. Containment should also help somewhat.Do something fun inside and don't watch cable news or on internet news all the time. You will go into either a depression or panic mode.

I'm on a youboob old WWII training film bender.

It means that if there is an event outside the owner's control like a war or an epidemic that for each game missed the owner's can deduct 1/92.6th  of the players salary. And this includes playoff games.

Comes the dawn... Miss 92.6 games, lose 100% of your salary. Ok.

But the NBA  doesn't have minor leaguers making $15k a year. That's suspending millions dollar contracts. MLB is different. It's pretty shitty way of doing business if many of the minor league guys might not be able to even afford to get home.

MLBTR posted an update on this and mentioned some teams are starting to step up.  I am going to tell you what, if the list of teams that step up doesnt include the Orioles at the end of the day that would be a real and meaningful blow to my 37 year old fandom of this team.

You are right.  The D league eliminated the 13K salary, now they make either 19K or 25K.

Until he lowers the magazine, the non-soldier on the right at 4:00-4:07 looks just like a certain nationally prominent attorney.

I was able to get my hotel money back for my trip next week as last night Hilton decided to waive cancellation fees.  Which I really appreciate. Not sure what the deal with American Airlines I might get my money back there as well but haven’t called yet.  I have a  booked two week European trip in July that I hope I will be able to make but who knows at this point.

American will give you a credit towards a future flight, with some restrictions.    We were headed to California today but were able to cancel even though the ticket originally was nonrefundable.

Anyone think a good idea for casinos to be open in Maryland,

Sit right next to someone at a table.Chips are passed back and forth. They say they sanitize the  chips .

There has to be a limit on how far you go (or maybe there doesn't...) A convenience store clerk, girl at the supermarket checkout, Wal*Mart, exchanges cash/goods with customers all day. Hands you your bag of stuff. You might exchange cash and change. It's like STDs. You have any "contact" with someone and you contact EVERYone they have had contact with. Anyone on a train/subway/bus/plane could breathe on you. Doctor's visit opens all kinds of possibilities. How many sick people are they in contact with in a day? How far do you go?

I wear a haz-mat suit to court.

Just kidding — I haven’t been to court in a while.    I only wear it in the office and around the house.
