Tony, if the game were to go off the rails a bit and offer you way more value in a trade than you thought was correct, would you accept?

No, I wouldn't. I shopped Jose Rondon around and got a crazy offer of a top closer for some reason and didn't accept the trade.

Getting back Aquino is pretty good.

Where do you expect the 3 pitchers to start?

Gutierrez is going Bowie and the other two were sent to Norfolk. DeLeon is on the 40-man roster so he could be in the mix for a promotion in long relief.

I liked getting Aquino.  Well done.

There were a ton of offers for Sisco, but Aquino seemed to have the most upside. Once I realized I could get some of the C+ arms with some ability to stretch out by trading away Bleier and Lakins, both of who did not have very high stamina ratings.

OOTP has several settings for trade difficulty.  I think many/most players set it to "Hard" and "Favor Prospects".  Which means you're going to have to work at it to get anyone to even consider your 29-year-old regular second baseman for any kind of decent prospects.  And as a GM you will get multiple offers every week for what appear to be stupid trades, like a 33-year-old one-star outfielder and a Grade C- prospect, for your setup guy who has 11 K/9. (Say, 2016 Nolan Reimold and Mike Wright for Brad Brach).  To the point where I don't even open many trade offers, I just delete them.

But you can still get in situations where you get what you think is a really good deal.  In my mind I don't mind an occasional deal that looks like its in my favor after being presented with 100 that made no sense for me at all.

The trade offers on the fantasy leagues were too funny sometimes. Its like they are hoping you didnt read that Kershaw has bad elbow and its out for the season, not to mention, there is an injury icon next to his name. They are hoping you would just accept the offer. And dont depend on your co-manager to vote against bad trades, like Chris Davis of 2019 for Mookie Betts of 2019, that some clown got the guy to agree to.

Yep, I'm not sure if I have ever accepted a computer started trade unless I altered the deal significantly.
