I’m a glass half full kinda guy. But to your point, Cobb pitching like he did today will get him a lot of looks and hopefully the Orioles something of value.

He'll probably get a blister or something before he throws enough good games to entice someone, but you gotta start somewhere.

He looked great.

I’m happy for him.    He’s had a lot of setbacks while he’s been here and I’ve always felt like it truly bothers him that he hasn’t earned his big paycheck.    Hopefully he can give us a dozen solid starts this year.

That was my thought also....This is a good first step.

No walks, very efficient with his pitches, lots of ground balls.  Later in the season, he might be able to 7 IP in this game.  If he can pitch like this for a month straight, he might be able to get some trade looks.

Pitch count.  I think he had 19 in the 1st, 30 in the second and 24-25 in the third.  Ended up at 87 through 4.
