Wynns clears waivers, off the 40 man

They have Taylor Davis. 

Also, Cumberland wasn’t exactly impressive at Bowie. Do what they did in 2016 and have 3 catchers (Rutschman, Cumberland and Davis) and use Davis as a 1st baseman while Rutschman and Cumberland catch/DH.

So the O's were hanging on to Wynns for dear life, and it turns out no other team wanted him.  Seems like there is a couple more players on the 40 man in the same position.

Nevin will be the 1B at AAA.  Cumberland is more of a DH.

O's were keeping Wynns on the 40 man roster until they determined if they could sign Severino to a reasonable contract or did they have to go to arbitration which was probably not going to happen.

Not unexpected, but nice to see Elias getting these spare guys off the 40 man, keep them in the organization and pick up loose 40 man change from other organizations.

And still have 2 spots open for a Rule 5 pick and flexibility.
