I dunno about anyone else here but when I see a game that's been postponed, there's like a 2 second period after where I'm like, "They mean delayed, right?  They're still gonna play today, right?  Doesn't postponed mean the same thing as...ah, wait, no it doesn't..."

Look on the bright side, with the Nats also cancelled, at least MASN executives get to skip one more day of paying the electric bill. They'll just turn the lights on tomorrow instead.

Why are we acting like someone's pulling something here?

I'm guessing the Red Sox want to be extra cautious with inclement weather given the reduced capacity (12%) at Fenway right now and the less-than-modern architecture (wouldn't be good PR to have everyone crowded together in the concourse)
