Rizzo is a lefty hitter who is pretty patient. He made a horrible pitch either way.

I'd take my chances with Rizzo.  But I think were probably missing the main point.  Tate is just unreliable. The guy had a 7.36 ERA for the month of August.

Well as you know we don’t have many reliable arms. That’s an area Elias needs to improve next year. Some improvement should be internal.
