I’m no doctor, but this is “good” news, right?

Depends. Terrin Vavra lost most of last season with back trouble and it can be chronic obviously. But it also could be a heat related cramp and an absolute nothingburger. That it doesn’t have anything to do with his arm is a massive relief.

The writer  might have got it from a source whose medical terminology is lacking.

When I think of cramps I am thinking of a very temporary injury.  Caused by heat or lack of hydration. Can be fully recovered the same day you experience them.

Back spasms or some kind of strain can obviously be more serious and cause him to miss some time.  Hopefully whatever injury this is, it's not something of the nagging variety.

You think of the abdominal area and maybe legs with cramps.  Not sure I've heard of a back cramping.  Strains and spasms, yes.

I'll take it either way.  Any injury other than one to the arm is a win here.

I was thinking the same too, but it's better than hearing Grayson has tightness in his forearm. But maybe this should be his last start in MILB.

I’m sure the Orioles will now bring him right up after an injury….. this will delay things longer.

There's no reason too even with a cramp Grayson was dominating tonight. Plus with the Orioles he should get a better level of care they wlll help prevent future cramping. Assuming this really is just cramps and nothing else.

I can see them now being even more cautious for awhile. Obviously have to see how he responds after today. Hope the story is 100% and it not something else.
