Watched bits of some of the games. Mayo is big but not bulky. He has at least average speed if not better. He got down the line pretty well to beat out a slow hopper to the 3B.  The power is impressive.  Prieto sent the CF to the edge of the track in deep LCF, probably about 370-380 on a high fly.  He looks very confident at the plate in his mannerisms.   Feliz just blew hitters away in his 3 innings.  Billy Cook could be an interesting under the radar type. He's got some power and speed and seems to be coming around after a terrible start.   Teter is huge but the swing seems long.  Cowser might be getting back to basics. Two sharp singles up the middle.

At Bowie, Haskins led the game off with an opposite field double off the wall and walked twice.  Although he got off to a great start, he had 0 walks and 8 strikeouts at one point. Since then, he's had 5 walks and 6 strikeouts.  A great sign.

Garrett Stallings has had some good starts but it's more of a Spencer Watkins vibe.  

They continue to bat Joey Ortiz at cleanup, and despite poor numbers, he doesn't look bad at the plate. I think he'll come around soon.

I like how his swing momentum makes it look like he barely catches his balances on his back leg afterward. Dude swings hard!

Good observations. I was very impressed by Mayo's getting down to first base speed. Very quick for a big man. Probably will be like Mountcastle in that department.

If Mayo can't stay at 3B he can always move to 1B.  It's not that hard.  (It's incredibly hard.)

Prieto must have a pretty girlfriend.  An ugly girlfriend an ugly girlfriend means no confidence.

Teter's biggest fear is a baseball being hit in his general direction.

Your post is mildly confusing but my thoughts on Mayo would be that 1B and RF would both make sense.

I think Mayo belongs on a slice of bread, or in an egg salad sandwich.   That would make even more sense.

They're references to quotes from Moneyball, just enjoyed the Hangout Scouting Report, so to speak.

Billy Beane told Scott Hatteberg that they wanted him at first base:
