not THE announcement

DC Channel 9 made this announcement this monring, 12/19. Did anyone else see or hear this? It was definitely reported but I've heard it nowhere else so I'm assuming this is not accurate.

The local sports channels have been making up numbers for a week and a half. I've heard everything from 6/150 to 10/210 from them. It changes everyday, based on assumptions and rumors. I don't lend much credence to anything they say, they have never been one to break a big story or even pay attention to baseball in this area. If it were about a Redskins or Wizards offer, I might listen, but their "sources" aren't very good when it comes to baseball.

Everyone is just clueless on who could have possibly outbid the Sox so they are assuming WAS gave him keys to the city and a blank check, funny how no one even mentions that BAL has said they are not out of things.
