“A modest three game winning streak”

Despite playing decent ball this year, the O’s currently are on only their second three-game winning streak of the year.   Their other three-game streak came on May 8-10 against Kansas City and St. Louis.  They haven’t had a four-game winning streak since Sept. 4-8, 2020.

This is where you would love to have a Grayson or DL on the hill to extend the streak.  It’s hard to piece together consecutive wins without really good starting pitching.

Or a great offense.  Even if the O's were hitting on all cylinders, resting several regulars makes no sense.

There’s your four game win streak!

The sweetest thing about this recent run of good play is that it’s coming during a stretch when the O’s were 1-14 last year.   We are putting a lot of distance between this year’s record and last year’s.
