Maybe Akin was only pitched 0.2 innings on Sunday because Hyde thought he would need him for this game.  I hope Voth can go at least 4.

Yeah, maybe but it didn't feel that way Sunday.   It was a perfect spot for Akin to go 2 innings for the team, and he didn't look good right away, and there was a pitching coach visit and then a removal.   Now maybe it works to our advantage tonight.  We can hope.

I'm not liking our chances with Voth on the mound and no Hays or Mountcastle

Last time Voth started I posted something very similar. Turned out great, so hoping for the same tonight. Hope springs eternal.

We're 2-1 in his 3 starts so far.

And our starting pitcher tonight has a career ERA a full 1.8 runs lower than the Ranger starter.   So we have the starting pitching edge tonight with Voth.

Chris Davis could never do that even when the shift ruined his career.

What a perfect bunt by Santander.

I think I saw that Crush is going to be part of the 30th anniversary festivities that first weekend of August.  Is that a good thing???
