These type of shit posts deserve a ban. Don't post crap unless it's verified.

The rumors have some smoke to it.  They have at least been written about by media sources.

That is a rumor. Just because there's an article about it, does not mean it's true. There's also an article where Angelos says he'd never move the team out of Baltimore.

Ownership responded to the allegation, which originated in Lou Angelos's dubious lawsuit against his mother and brother, and they weren't exactly ambiguous in their refutation of Lou's claim.

Update: John Angelos released a statement via the Orioles on Monday, stating that the team "will never leave" Baltimore.

I don't entirely see John Angelos' statement as definitive.  Call me cynical but he has little reason from a PR standpoint not to release that statement regardless of what his actual intentions are.  Until the Orioles sign a new stadium lease I will remain at least mildly skeptical.  That is not to say that a rumor from a friend that works at the club is exactly convincing evidence either, actions speak louder than words, right?  I tend to think that the allegation made in the lawsuit would not have been made if there wasn't some evidence of it.  But of course, we'll see.

They have been advertising Birdland memberships and we got an e- mail from our account rep stating to look for info soon to renew and that there is a new flex membership category.  I could be wrong but don’t think they would do that if they were moving.
