Singleton hit Leadoff in 75. When I was old enough to watch him in early 80’s he didn’t run well. I assume a little faster back then.

I would not read much into it. Frazier had great night last night and they may like this matchup for him. I assume the computer likes Urias over him offensively or they really want his glove tonight.

This is going to be a big start for Wells. I'm hoping for a rebound from his last two atrocities and that he can keep the Yankees in the yard.

Kenny Singleton was never swift--definitely not conventional lead-off quick. Even in the OF, he took good routes but was slow getting to the ball--late-career Markakis in RF reminded me of him although Nick had a much better arm.
