I think you can say that almost every game lately.  A lot of floating strike zones.  It one thing to have small or big zone but at least be consistent.

Robo-ump is going to change the game. IMO for the better.

There are some good ones.  A couple weeks ago, an ump missed the first ball/strike call of the game and then went perfect afterwards.

I'm pro robo ump but geez, does every game thread have to be whining about the umps?  Mostly the guys are pretty great at a really hard job.

Its going to be great.  No longer a young struggling pitcher who is having a hard time finding the plate getting squeezed because the Ump hasnt seen a strike and misses when the kid gets one over.  And no longer players getting strikes on reputation.

I honestly don't remember a year when the strike calling was this bad. Especially on the outside part of the plate.

On the other hand, not having to worry about framing should lead to a small decrease in passed balls and wild pitches.
