Mariners series

Hopefully the weather won't cause too many problems this weekend.  It's forecasted to consistently rain off and on through about 7p EST or so tomorrow.

Looked at the team schedules, both have a possible open make up day when they're both off on August 31, just before the M's go to NY to play the Mets starting September 1.

That's going to severely suck for the O's though, as that's the day after they are supposed to end a home stand, and they are playing in Arizona on September 1.

So hopefully one game rains out at most so we can resolve this with a doubleheader if needed.

That's a long time. Infinity and beyond. Brandon's Ark? Here comes the Orioles prospects two by two.  They will keep the prospects below deck and never get called up to the ship deck.

Well they could get swept overboard if on the ship deck.  And that would be terrible for their trade value.

Gillespie, Akin, and Perez burned last night. Any moves coming today? Who is next up on the shuttle these days? Maybe Vespi gets an actual shot? Only positive from last night was Perez looked good over two innings touching 99.

I’m not broken up about Gillaspie being used up already.

Vespi has to stay down for 15 days.   That ends tomorrow.
