And if you really think O'Hearn is so bad against LHP, you could always slide Santander defensively into the spot at that point in the game. Hicks would be my preference but if he's not available they still have Frazier who can play RF or LF in the defensive realignment the pinch hit forces.

Cowser seemed not to be aware of the ghost runner there.  He was kind of slow throwing it in.  I think the runner gets to 3rd regardless but I feel like he should have maybe tried to contest.

His run doesn't matter. Wouldn't even affect Bautista's stats.

Putting Bautista back in there after we subbed out all our defensive wizards is probably a good move.  A strikeout is the best fielder on the planet.
