Why is Mateo pinch hitting... for ANYONE?

Because the clubhouse loves Mateo.  Everyone likes him.  They plan to use him as much as possible for a guy who is losing his regular playing time.

Switched to the TB broadcast. Who knew announcers who just call the game. I knew Brown couldn’t go a whole game without some idiotic reference (the Apple Siri reference while Siri was AB).

And the Rays guy is great, has this gravely voice and calls the game-just the game.

Baseball is fun to watch, you don’t need to “spice it up” with your clever cultural references.

Yeah because Vin Scully and John Miller never told stories.

So he's a great guy who sucks at baseball, but happens to be fast?  Not a good reason to use him 'as much as possible'.

Dumbest decision I've seen from Hyde in a long time to pinch hit Mateo.

Mateo's line vs. LHP, including the double off southpaw league ERA-leader McClanahan yesterday: .310 / .356 / .464 / .820.

Frazier's: .192 / .288 / .327 / .615

Well Odor was good in the clubhouse....Hyde like that he was tough.  And he turned a good double play.  Other than that he should of been off the team.  But Hyde used him every possible chance.  Seems we do this as a team practice.  Get used to it.
