A Left Handed Pitcher (LHP) who is stingy with walks sounds like a good game to utilize Ryan Mountcastle. If our usual strategy of patience isn't going to result in walks, then it pays to have an aggressive guy in there like Mountcastle who can hit hit with some power.

It certainly does! RMC crushed no. 12 today in a game decided by one run....

Great start. Kremer went deep and saved the bullpen. Baker and Coulombe weren’t great but Cowser came through and Perez stepped up even though he made it difficult.

We can never have things easy, that’s for sure.

We’ve given up the lead, only to regain it, in each of our last four wins.

Yeah, I'm self-quoting here!

Hat tip to @Jim'sKid26for the prevailing winds report and oppo-taco call.

I'm glad I got to witness Jordan Westburg's 1st career home run life, in what will be the 1st of many home runs!

P.S. Me Too!.....

These types of games show the need for another reliever arm; there's some cracks in the bullpen's foundation that need to be sured up quick.

Baltimore's bullpen ERA is 6th in all of baseball.  The spread between us and the next 4 above us is a meaningless two tenths.  The number one Yanks are only 5 tenths.

Those are the numbers folks.  Our pen isn't an issue.

I see the important issue as NO replacement for Mullins.

Not many teams will beat us scoring three runs,

We held 5 RPG TB to 3.5.

Tonight we shut down the Phils.

The only team that has hit us this month in LA but look what they did to Texas pitching.

In all fairness, TB hasn't been a 5 RPG offense in a month. They are 3.8 RPG.

In all fairness who has hit us in the last month besides the Dodgers who scored 30 plus against Texas in 3 games.

Don't try to deflect now. I'm just correcting you. TBR haven't been a 5 run offense in a month, hence their freefall.

Felix skews the numbers.  Unfortunately, he cant pitch every day.
