The Playoff Push is Going to be Wild

In my opinion ,things in the American League East and West are going to get crazy. With 6 teams fighting for 5 spots ,just look at the schedules of each team ,any one of the 6 could be on the outside looking in including our O's. but again just my opinion,i think it will be either houston or texas who doesn't make it. i think seattle will win the west,tampa will win the east ,with the orioles and jays being only 1 or 2 games back. the Jays schedule looks pretty soft the rest of the way,the O's need to win a game or 2 this series.

It looks like the “cut line” will be much higher this year.  Right now Seattle is on pace to win the 3rd wild card with 91 wins; last year, Tampa took that spot with 86 wins.  I expected the cut line to be higher this year, but 91 would be a pretty high figure.  And it could end up higher than that.

Baltimore .639

Houston .611

Texas .571

Minnesota .571

Toronto .571

Tampa .529

I don't think there's any way (barring some monumental collapse) that the Orioles don't make the playoffs.
